Dr. Woodward regularly performs the Double Bass with the Gadsden Symphony. Every great once in a while, you can see him solo with the Double Bass (but it is even more rare than piano and organ).
YOu want me to play what?!
Piano
Dr. Woodward has made guest piano soloist appearances with the Classics Philharmonic (San Diego) and the Georgia Symphony Orchestra (Marietta) performing his piano concerto and his children's book "When Rebecca Woogie Came to Town". While he has more than paused any thought, hope, or even desire for a solo piano career, he can be coaxed into an accompanying gig now and then. Check with him to see if he still has the chops to provide a piano accompaniment for you.
Pipe Organ
Double Bass
Dr. Woodward is currently the organist at First Presbyterian Church in Anniston.
Jack of all trades, master of none, but at least we can have some fun! Need me to try something new? I'll give it a try! I've played the Ukulele, Recorder, Tuba, Euphonium, Guitars, Tenor, Soprano (that was a rough 8 months), various percussion, and whatever you've needed before, and it's been a lot of fun. Let me know what you've got in mind!
If you need something, I'll give it a try...
